Beaches in Cádiz

In a province facing the sea, there is no doubt of the value of its beaches and its beach bars, stretching along the coast of Cádiz. The beach Playa de la Caleta, the closest to the city centre and the most appreciated one by residents, is also the beach visitors prefer. However, Victoria Beach is also considered to be the best urban beach in Europe.

Dining is one of the hallmarks in Cádiz. Thanks to its sea tradition, fish is one of the main products that professionals and residents use in their daily lives to prepare fried fish (pescadito frito), shrimp omelettes, prawns... Do not forget to taste gazpacho and salmorejo!

One of the main attractions in Cádiz is the city centre and its houses decorated with beautiful and surprising courtyards. The Tavira Tower, an important monument in the city centre, is an indispensable destination, as well as the New Cathedral, the Old Cathedral, the Town Hall, the Arcos de los Blancos and the Arco de la Rosa.

Parque Natural de la Bahía de Cádiz

This Natural Park occupies a large and vast area within the municipal district, and it is full of salt areas (salineras) which represent the ethnological heritage. In addition, the park stands out for its high ecological value and it divided into two spaces: the Charco de Camposoto and the Punta del Boquerón.
